About This Website

This site was created to record and share the recipes my mother-in-law left for her family, as faithfully as possible. I value preserving the original measurements, steps, and even the small notes and comments as closely as I can.

This site has not been created by me alone. With the support of my husband and daughter, it has gradually taken shape as a family project. Their perspectives and help are the reason I have been able to continue this work.

Rather than making major changes to the recipes, my role is to present them in a clear and readable way, while also sharing the background behind them, such as the feelings with which they were made and the occasions when they often appeared at the family table.

The recipes will be published gradually in Japanese, English, and German. Even across different languages, I would be very happy if the flavors my mother-in-law left behind could bring a little warmth to someone else’s family table.
